Urgent help needed

Hi

I hope someone can advise me, I'm not really sure what to do.....

I had a previous loan with mobile quid which had not been paid - after a week of not paying the balance was £300, I paid the total amount on payday and it is showing on my bank statement.

This morning I have woken up to find the same company (shown as MQ123 Ltd) has debited a further £250 yesterday.
I have spoken to my bank who advised if unauthorised I should be able to claim back later this morning - but I didn't know if this was right, the woman I spoke to didn't seem too confident. I haven't been able to locate a number for mobilequid and I dont think they are in on a Saturday - can anyone advise me as to what I can do?

I am slowly clearing my debts and this was one that was finished and confirmed as paid by them, this has thrown me for a loop!

Thanks for any help you can offer

Thanks for your reply. No, no direct debit they hae my bank details from my previous loan which has been cleared and confirmed paid by them in an email. I will speak to my bank at 0900 like advised but should I also cancel my card? Should I contact Mobilequid or go direct through the bank?

Sorry to hear that - its such a worry isn't it when something like that happens. You will need to contact mobilequid if the payment was not authorised and find out what the heck they are playing at. Also, your bank should be able to put a stop on any more transactions from them in the meantime. Unfortunately, with it being a weekend there is probably little you can do until Monday with regards to mobilequid. Have you no paperwork from them with contact details? If you have any problems with mobilequid in returning te unauthorised payment I tend to find that mentioning trading standards and watchdog helps enormously. Sorry for your predicament and hope it gets sorted soon.

This is getting ridiculous, spoken with bank and I need to speak with "Visa Disputes" who are not in until Monday. Fraud departemtn have said that has they have my details from a previous loan there is nothing they can do?! The number attached to the payment is 0207 193 8440 which I have called and is a dodgy message telling me they are not available and to leave a message, it doesn't identify the company.

I am so angry right now
