I won a prize to an event in Blackpool back in February and after the first intial email from the organiser I havent heard anything back. The event is in July (just over 40 days away) and I have yet to hear anything. We were told we wouldnt hear for a while because they would need to sort out a date for the event at a later date. (its on for about a week I think) I have just been online now and the tickets for the event actually went on sale 6th Feb. I have emailed back but recieved no reply as of yet. Im going to give it a few more days but I need to make arrangements for 2 days off work and if I dont hear soon I may not be able to go as its in the school holiday season and its a popular time for holidays at work. Ive also got children I would need to arrange childcare for. Im really annoyed that I have to chase this prize am I being unreasonable and what would you do in this situation. I hate hassling people but equally I would like to be able to attend.
Thanks x
Thanks x
I hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.

Not at all... I think it's perfectly within your rights to chase
Wait for a few days to see if they respond and then get on the phone to them. Fingers crossed for you!
Hope you ultimately have a lovely time:)0 -

If you don't hear anything within the next few days, I would contact the ASA.
You can fill in their form at -

They're excellent dealing with problems like this.

That's annoying... does google not turn anything up?
Libra's idea is pretty solid - even the threatening of that may get you somewhere :cool:0 -
