Hi Folks
I'm after a bit of advice on my circumstances which would be muchly appreciated.
Currently renting a house which I may have the option to purchase. House price approx. £200k with £20k deposit therefore 90% LTV and mortgage required of £180k.
Salary £42k per annum with annual guaranteed bonus of around £4k. However last year to April 12 earnings were £66k including bonus.
Currently no debt. Credit card with £1000 limit and Next Directory Store account both paid off fully when used. Overdraft of £750 available but never used.
Credit history isn't too bad however on checking experian and equifax 2 accounts show the following:
1. Barclaycard from 2005 when i entered an "arrangement to pay", this was settled fully in November 2009.
2. The other is with Nationwide which is from 2006, it shows various late payments (this was a car loan with ex husband who upon seperation kept the car and agreed to uphold payments - but didn't:mad:) I agreed a partial settlement with Nationwide and this was settled in 2009.
Any feedback or comments would be welcomed re chances of actually getting mortgage taking into account all of the above.
new-ish-bie so be kind

Your history may preclude you from applying with some of the mainstream lenders.
Suggest you speak to a knowledgeable broker.0 -
Thanks, will do.0

Definitely possible.
So long as neither have defaulted, you should be fine. On your credit file they will show as default and default date.
At 90% hard but not impossible if they are default and they are on there for 6 years then drop off...I am a Mortgage Broker

Thanks DH
They were never defaulted so fingers crossed.
I've had a mortgage in the past with Accord - do you think that might be worth a shot?
Thanks again:)0
