Other than the CCJ your credit is still poor ... does that mean you have missed or late payments dotted around the place?
If so i think your going to struggle.
If other than the CCJ you have kept good credit - ie payments on time. Then you stand a decent chance.
How much of your income is made up of benefits? If its a large percentage, again you may well struggle. You may well need a 15-20% deposit. I doubt a 10% deposit would cut it.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Few missed payments here & there.
Joint salarys are £12,000 + £9,000 benifits.
Were looking @ house upto £70,000.
We can manage a 20% deposit not a problem as that will be around 15k.
Is their anyone that will look @ our case, and if so what paper work do we need.
Cheers in advance0
