Just got back from T's, got 2 finest orchids in glass pots down from £10 to £1 each, a massive chrysanthemum for 30p and another potplant for 50p:T:T:T and obviously kind Mr T gave me some more MAM's for free;)
DS has convinced himself that he has fluffed the exam he did this afternoon,so I have a very unhappy teenager tonight
I am sure your DS has done much better than he thinks, they always think they have fluffed it. He is a very bright young man and all the Uni's should be clambering for the privilege of him choosing them. When will he get the results is it August like the A-levels?If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -

I used to use a deep fat fryer but got fed up changing the oil and now have an actifry, healthier chips, just as nice, and no oil to change![/QUOTE]
I bought an actifry, and used it twice, but we just didn't like the taste, or should I say none taste, so I sent it back. I'm now back to using my chip pan again. I was gutted as I thought it would have been an awful lot healthier, but my kids hated the chips!
Does anyone else have one of these?0 -
Evening everyone
Just catching up as had awful night last night.
Had just had bath and ready to have evening meal when DH collapsed upstairs
He had been coughing all day and could hardly breath by time got upstairs
Called ambulance and they rushed him in to A&E
4 hours of examinations and x-rays they decided it was severe chest infection. After putting OH on nebuliser and a drip for steroids they eventually discharged him just after midnight last night
How dreadful for you, and DH. I hope he is ok and on the mend. Breathing problems are very scary but thank goodness you were there to get him helpThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -

We'll let westie decide whose post is the most pointless!!
Sis is having a few days break as she's got a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle to finish as mum is getting peed off with it taking up the dining room table. She's also realised just how close I trip away is and has lots of planning to do for it.:eek:0
