Morning all, looks like a lovely sunny day here today.
Got to stay at home all day as got freebie loft insulation being put in this morning and midwife coming this afternoon. Going to enjoy sitting in the garden though whilst DS runs around and wears himself out
Hopefully the glitches will come later in the day when I can take advantage of them
Managed to order a few of the toys on Ts direct last night but had to opt for home delivery as click and collect wouldn't work for me despite numerous attempts. Fingers crossed they all go through ok as it'll make a good start on Christmas presents♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -

Is your mum like the above?SpiralingDown wrote: »Morning all
It's a busy few days for me.
Today I've got to take my friend to her hospital appointment for 10am. My mum wasn't too pleased with that because she had a list a mile long full of stuff for me to do for her. She was writing it all out yesterday when my friend rang to reming me about it which was just as well because I'd thought it was next week
My mum decided to go off on one about how selfish my friend was expecting me to drop everything to take her evernthough it was arranged last month that I would take her. She then proceeded to tell me about the stuff she needed me to do for her and how it needed done today at the lastest and that I'd need to fit it in somewhere - talk about being selfish.
The main thing that she wanted/needed done was to go get a replacement ordered of my brothers driving licence, he lost it at Xmas and has only now decided, 2 weeks before we go on hols, that he wants to drive while we're out there so needs it. She started her usual blackmail routine then when that didn't work she turned on the waterworks so my dad then thinks I've done something wrong :mad:
The best thing about it is she's off tomorrow but can't be bothered doing the stuff herself.
I won't be able to help her tomorrow because I've finally got the contractor to agree to come do the work:T:T
I've got baking with after school kids at 3pm then DS school leavers service at 630pm
In between all these have loads of things that I need to do to be ready for tomorrow
so p'ed off with parents but should be out of there soon
Hope everyone's keeping well and hugs to those who need one xxxYou can't live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you. ~John Wooden 154/06/2700 -
Morning
I have something of an urgent query
I have a T delivery coming and there are some items on the order that I no longer need
Is it at all possible to return items in a food shop when nothing is wrong with them?
I have been reading terms and conditions and the ones I have found don't state it clearly and only mention returning should there be substitutions or should the price be higher than expected.
Can I say I no longer want them
Any advice will be greatly appreciated, please2013 Wombles onto Giftcard Challenge £0/£1200 -

This thread seems to be flying along a bit quicker than usual. Hopefully will have bit more time to keep up with it as my hours at work have been dropped from 5 days to 2 :eek: I was only part time on 2hrs a day so been dropped 6.
Had quick skim of pics of the Elite meet from the week end. Looks like you all fun being mischievous together.
Still no food mags in my local but not too worried as we have no mams either.
Hope everyone has a lovely day enjoying the sunshine.:j:j :j:j0 -

We definitely take it for granted living this close - don't really go in for the sunbathing on the beach all day but quite like going for a walk down Sandbanks and getting a coffeeSilence is golden...unless you have a toddler. In that case silence is very, very suspicious!0 -
