For those of you who have the free McVities cakes coupon, maybe it will be worth waiting for the new Price Flop leaflet before using it. The new Price Flop has £1 off cakes when you spend £3. So using both and buying e.g. Mcvities Jaffa cake bars x 2 (or the Galaxy ones) = £2.60p (or 2 for £2) and Tesco "Everyday" Chocolate Chip Cake Bars = 50p. Total should be £3.10p. Deduct 60p for the 2 for £2. Then the £1 off Tesco voucher, then the free cake voucher which will be minus £1.30. Total to pay = 20p. Worth a try!

Where d.o you get the free mcvities cake coupon from please

I've just been told by PM......"post less and skank more".......wise advice and advice I'll be heeding.

    Nite nite issyc :)

well i have just had to google what does skank mean? still none the wiser.

Thank you for your reply to me earlier, must admit i had a whole pot of Ben and Jerrys after your first comment (i did feel really sick afterwards). It does take a lot of courage to come out of lurkdom, you all know each other so well, and i suppose as a newbie you just want to give something back to you all. But as i said before knuckles rapped, information taken on board, all of you elite have been around for years and that is because you know where the line is.:money:

Morning all weather warmish and windy here, two lines of washing blowing in the wind.
Hope it is a good day for all:j

I always thought skank was a very degoratory term

I wouldn't worry about having your knuckles rapped we all have different ways of saving money and some take it further than others. Just do what you are happy with and only post about some of it.;):p

    Skank 7655 up, 1973 down
Derogatory term for a (usually younger) female, implying trashiness or tackiness, lower-class status, poor hygiene, flakiness, and a scrawny, pockmarked sort of ugliness. May also imply promiscuity, but not necessarily. Can apply to any race, but most commonly used to describe white trash.

Don't think I'd be too happy being called that, but then I sippose its only t'internet.

    Morning all
Feels like DTD all over again!
How many MSE'ers waiting anxiously today for "pricechecks in"
    Have a good one!

Ps zippy they are plastic bags with a union jack in boxes by checkout or fridge section, they look a bit like bags for life but are insulated on the inside
Ask someone I have 5 I reckon I'm entitled to so am going to nip in with receipts later!

Never mind, doing a mystery shop tomorrow so I'll get some for free :T

How do you guys get to be mystery shoppers?!?! DH thinks I would be good at it, and I might just be tempted... anyone have a link where I can read about it?

so plan: catch up, run, hope price checks arrive!
a beautiful weekend to all of you! :T
