  • I hope you complained!!

I did on that occasion as it was the 2nd time I'd been majorly trouted, so Uncle P got an email and I got an email telling me I could use them, so I always keep it tucked away, just in case. Must say I've not had any real problems recently, they're usually ok at taking them. This happened way back in October time last year

Saw these at my local store
Did they scan ok or did SA have to manually input

No I got the spend not met on the SS tills, but the guy was like 'yeah whatever' when I went to get them out my bag to show him and just put them through manually. Probably just as well

    Top tip:money:

If you do find the mags in your store make sure you grab as many as you will want for the whole of the validity of the coupon! Don't just grab a few each time because they have been there weeks and the big big box is still very full and they will never get through all of those because next day when you go in for more stocks the whole bloomin box may be gone, mags/box pallet and all :doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::mad::mad::mad: (With self!):o

If your store sells wheel barrows, load up with mags and purchase said barrow, take barrow to car, unload mags and then take said barrow back for refund ;) Failing that apparent the double bagging method works OK but I suspect your fingers may go a bit blue with the weight :rotfl:

You ain't near the watford store are you?:whistle::whistle:

Some SAs will happily put anything through that the till accepts but others may refuse to take them. Getting to know your local store and the SAs will help you decide if little and often or one big batch in one go is the best way to go when using vouchers.[...]
This is a very good point. I have worked hard to find SAs like this and I now have one in each of my three local stores that will take whatever I can throw at them. I got a camera for £23 the other day that should've been £150 using all sorts of coupons. Just know your targets.

Just left MILs don't know how she is coping my FIL is very poorly. I have told my hubby he needs to be there more now, I don't think it will be long. They are such a close family, hubby just not coping with it.
Hugs go out to you and your hubby. Times like this are really difficult. You're in our prayers. :grouphug:

While staying under the radar :cool:
I expect everybody to have wheel barrow races in store now:rotfl::rotfl:
This actually made me LOL! :D:rotfl: My local has pallet loads of these. I have yet to use one as I have zero freezer space. I shall dash out and get a pile tomorrow whilst visiting my coupon SA friend. :rotfl:

Just have a feeling that the same might happen here. If one supermarket giant officially stops accepting coupons then the rest may follow.

The worrying thing is that coupon fraud is rising too and sadly, that will mean we'll all lose out. I honestly think it's a matter of time 'til we'll see supermarkets stop accepting them.
    :(
I don't think this is likely, Karlie. The coupons bring them a massive footfall. If one stopped doing loyalty like this, they others would smash them. They all do it, it's just we target Tesc'os currently due to glitches. If we all worked as hard on the ASDA side, this thread would be entitles ASDA ELITE.

My JTD came back for £11 yesturday so I assume that they are not applying the £10 max at least. I should have a £20 come back today so will report back. BTW the John Frieda is a great JTD ... £7 each in Tesco and 3 for £10 in Asda making it good value for a premium brand.
Thanks for this. I guess we won't be able to tell until one comes back at exactly £10. I didn't get chance to do a JTD today but did two shops with two vouchers and then wombled two really good receipts ;);)

Big hugs to all those that need it. Trying to be active in the group and control my temper. I will bite though, so tread carefully! Down with Tesco! :money:
