Ok, I'll admit I've done this in the past :o Stopped when I read that Royal Mail has sophisticated equipment that can detect whether the stamp has been used before, even if it's not marked (something to do with the glue)...don't know if this is true?
But won't do it now as I wouldn't want the embarrassment of someone I know having to go down to the depot and pay extra cos I was too tight to buy a new stamp for their glitched card :p. I'd appreciate it if anyone could shed light on the stamp rumour though....
The "detection thing" was to prevent stamps being steamed off, there is a bit that is stamped out and becomes detatched if the stamp is steamed off, or is meant to anyway. Dont know if they have got round the idea of sticking selotape on it though!

    ;) who knows?

If a stamp has sellotape over it it can't be franked & the receiver may be fined .....

michjay - You're far too kind, thank you :)

FloFlo - Awwww love her :A I am such a dog lover, I would sleep downstairs with her too. When I first had mine, Daisy wasn't well at all, struggling to breathe and having coughing fits so I slept down with them :) I really hope she has a good night and is feeling herself tomorrow.

logie - smiley-hug008.gif Cuddles to you and your Grandma xxxx

    bensonsmum - :hello:

    ems2 - :hello:Welcome to the Elite! :D

    Mr3Dogs - Sleep tight :Axx

QPR - Good luck with recommencing on Monday. I really hope it means you're feeling much more energised soon :)

Popped to A's for whoopsies at 7:30pm. Got about £18 worth of bits and pieces for 98p :D including the Whole Earth choc spread......reduced now to 38p. This was never 25p in my store like others had reported, it was 75p and I ummed and ahhed but they all disappeared before I got one. Then a lone one appeared on the clearance shelves today complete with SEL of 38p :T

Lovely seeing the Elite Meet pics :T:T
When I was a regular poster on an eBay forum we used to meet up a couple of times a year - so strange seeing what your posting friends look like :) after what you imagine them to look like ;)

So I'm in Belfast next week - any takers for an Elite Meet? :o

There aren't many MSE's close to me :( Cosmic Dust is the only one I really know of here, although we've never actually met.
Think I'll have to take a trip further east and see if I can spot [STRIKE]Zak Dingle[/STRIKE], Happy Chappy, Westie and Motherbear :rotfl:
I think Sanya would be on my way so she could come too :D

I worked my way through a whole one earlier :o T'was gorgeous though :j

Alan has just popped his head round the door as he'd been to the bathroom, but is going straight back to bed as he is more comfortable there. I just have to take his last meds in for him when I go to bed later
Hi 3dogs - yep, my ice cream tub is now empty! Hope Alan has a better night tonight. Remember to look after yourself as well. Lots of love to you both xx:A

Thank you, glad the blood test is done, i was just getting my head round the new diet & then had to go back to eating normally. From Monday I'm back cutting everything out it really made a difference & been feeling gradually worse again eating all the no no's, felt like a dead body today but resting etc doesn't really help.
Good luck for monday re: changing the diet again QPR..hope it will have a positive effect on your health
