Thanks :D will get a wombling then lol

    Have fun :D

Just a couple tips for putting points on from me is to use different stores if convenience to you. And also to put points on early in the morning when there's only 1 member of staff there and the same late in the evening. That way you don't get recognized:D and also the odd disguise:cool::cool::rotfl:

You mention this auction a lot. What is it exactly? Houses? I'm picturing you on "Homes under the Hammer".

LOL It is a general auction in town selling anything from boxes of rubbish to furniture, ornaments, collectables, gardening stuff, etc plus they have a plants & flower hall too. Mr 3Dog used to buy a lot of his stock from there when he did the car boots, plus we buy things for the house and garden there too. Love looking round, especially if there is something we are interested in, and the porters and office staff have become our friends over the time we have been going. As I look around my sitting room, only the sofa bed not from the auction :rotfl: :rotfl:

See me on Homes under the Hammer? No ........ but Flog it???????? yes :o

Brought a tear to my eye but in a good way;)and will to Nannylalas too. My dad even showed my mum where to put the dishwasher salt in the dishwasher because he always did it;)They sorted out everything before he died including the most emotional thing, he died in the February and he bought her an eternity ring for Xmas as she didnt have one and they also renewed their wedding vows too which was the most emotional & moving thing ever as everyone knew he was termillay ill:(

Arhhh, that's lovely Nikka, brought tears to my eyes reading it :A

Not having been in that position but knowing people that have it seems the best thing to do is move things around indoors so its a different but the same house, keeping some things but not being swamped by not wanting to get rid of anything & then giving it at least a year before making a decision whether to move or not, let your feelings settle.

As you say you would like to live nearer your family but would they want you on the doorstep all the time or is it better just to visit more often.

I can only wish you both the best in the coming months take one step at a time & we're all here to listen when necessary

My initial thought was to move straight back up 'home', to the North East, but then as time goes by, I think more of staying down here, for a while anyway. I can always travel up there more but still be near friends down here. Alan's main worry is what will happen to me. How I will manage on my own, as he used to be the one looking after me, and our roles have been reversed. But it is amazing what we can do when we have to ;)

FloFlo - oddly enough, the District Nurse was talking about a syringe driver today when she came,, in relation to what pain control is available for later on, as the cancer developes. Hope your F-i-L is ok hun

Right, time to wake Alan and see if he wanst to watch the England game - I've got it on pause so he won't miss any of it. and then, more catching up for me :p

This is weird. I just had 2 emails from Tesco price whatever with a £3.17 and 44p vouchers. I submitted those receipts weeks ago but didn't get round to printing them off

And I just noticed that one of them has 20 clubcard points for old bag reuse on the list if non-compared items

I haven't been anywhere near thf new website so can only think that they know I didn't print them off before and resent them

    *scratches head*

Same type of thing for me , put one in yesterday came back as 3p cheaper ! but also got two more back that ive already printed and used... screw up as per usual.. not checked other email addys yet..

Just checked my email and three Price Checks I did in early May ( and that expired) have reappeared in my inbox as Price Promise's and came up with an expiry day of 13.7.12. I have been away for 4 weeks working on the Jubilee Concert and had let them expire by mistake as I am pretty tired after 28 straight days of 6.30a.m to 9.p.m. days.
