Sorry about that post but I am not a rude person, I like posting on here and having a laugh but sometimes it can seem such a cold place.
Time to go now,
Take care and thanks

I don`t put people on ignore, this is not a school playground is it?
Some warmth in your posts would be good and maybe the odd happy face.
Regards and good night

I have worked in catering many years and would never tell anyone someting out of date is safe to eat.
Thanks again for your reply.

I agree that MMW can come across cold and abrupt but I don't think she means anything by it, I don't even think she realises her comments appear that way...that's her way.. she has been so caring to many people in some of her comments. Please don't take it personally.Born to glitch0 -

What can I have sweet to eat? I really fancy either cinder toffee or a bounty bar middle, neither of which I have in and I can't drive as I've had a vodka0 -
I usually chop them up and fry them in olive oil, I throw in whatever woopsie veg I have in the fridge, like leeks, courgettes, onions, asparagus, etc Then after about 5 minutes of frying, I pour over a tin of tomatoes, or if I have fresh tomatoes going soft I will skin them and put those in instead, some dried mixed herbs or dried thyme etc a splash of lemon juice. I then simmer for about 25 minutes. I then put it all in a large dish, melt some grated cheese on top. When it's cooled I keep it in the fridge and eat it over a few days, heating up in the microwave what I need, I will have it with mackrel? maybe chicken? whatever is in the fridge or freezer! or sometimes just with crusty bread. It's really delicious and helps with the dieting as it's mainly all veg
kids eat it too!
I do a very similar dish but lay some cod at the bottom of the dish then cover it with the tomato and pepper mixture. I then put grated mozarella on top and cook for 15 mins.....its a slimming dish...found it in a WW cookbook !0
