I always speak Welsh to people who phones with survey's or trying to sell something... It confuses them and they end up hanging up on me!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    So do I!:T:T:rotfl:
I also do it if any cold callers knock at the door and once to one of those supposed charity people who stops people in the street lol I stood there for about 5 minutes once talking in welsh after one tried to block me in so he could deliver his sales pitch, I soon had him turned around so he was then blocked in and I carried on chatting away until he practically crawled away and then went running up the street!! Lol when I turned back I was greeted with people clapping. :)

Not sure if posted already. But the rice pudding does not scan as a desert pudding in Ts just tried it.

was this the chilled rice twin pots or the ambrosia rice little pots ?

i tried it on the little pots of custard and jelly today and it wouldnt scan got told that jelly and custard are not a pot dessert even though you eat them as a dessert and they are in a pot. got to love the t3sco logic sometimes:rotfl:

has anyone found anything these dessert mocs do work with?

someone asked earlier about the £1 off cooked meats moc scanning (sorry cant remember name or find post) i used 2 x real food mocs and 1 x price flop today to buy the 2 for £3 meats and they scanned fine so got them for free. i did it on the self serves with other bits but made sure the 2 mocs i scanned before auth needed was 1 MAM real food and 1 meat price flop so the sa only saw the 1 MAM i had left (and several other mocs but she had no probs with these).

can the MAM foods be frozen coz i could see anywhere on pack about it not that i have any room in the freezer but good to know

    Afternoon all :D

Still not finding much time to keep up with the thread but but hope everyone is OK :)

I got a message earlier about the Thorntons and was sitting in the car outside my local Extra, just about to leave. Thought to myself 'I can't pass that one up' so headed back into the store and found them on the shelf with a £3.50 label!

Scanners out of action so I went to the Electrical Desk at the back of the store for a price check. The lady in front of me had a handful of Price Flop coupons in her trolley so I started to engage in conversation as I though she might be one of us ;) and she offered me one of her Price Flops :j.

Got the choccies checked and they were £3.50 - boooo!!!

Then headed over to the lady again and uttered those immortal words 'Are you a friend of Martin's?'

Yes!, she said, so just want to say a big HELLO! to Enterprise :wave::wave::wave::wave::wave:.

Managed to help her out with some Make a Meal vouchers, then we had a quick look in the car section but nothing to be found there :(

Then went over to see if I could find the Smokey Pork Sausage and grabbed what was there and we shared it between us (I can't get them in my local).

The checkouts were nearly empty as it was school pick-up time and so put my bits on the conveyor belt, then looked up and saw I had chosen the Checkout Supervisor!!! When I gave her the first voucher she said I hadn't bought the right product, but I read the coupon to her - to be used for any Make a Meal product - and she put them all through for me, along with the £1 off £3 prepacked meats from the Price Flop :j

So 4 packs of sausage, some dog treats and half price peppers for 66p - that's my kind

So bookworm is in my neck of the woods too... What are the odds.

    Where is your local hornt?

Sorry it's OT, but can anyone tell me about the kids mats where they draw with a pen filled with water, my son loves the one at after school club and I'd love to buy it for him if I knew what it was! :)
