fk has no wallpaper so the cloth is to hide that fact.:( he did say this a few weeks back when he was showing his crabs.

This made me laugh out loud,,and cheered me up! Mid 50's birthday today and had planned a day to just relax...firstly DH said the grass on the banks needed cutting as it was sunny then couldn't find my new passport and need it to fly to work in the morning (sounds glam but it's not). Spent the whole morning turfing out drawers, cupboards and shelves in the study...finally found it about 10 minutes ago! Now have to put everything back and still have the grass to cut! Grrrrrrrr:mad:
    If it's full price I don't buy it..if its 50% off I will consider it..if it's whoopsied and I have a coupon its in the trolly! ;)

Thanks fc, when rain stops I'll pop out to freezer no 2 and have a look see:-)

Yes that's right Issyc, the Magnum style ones that many of us were buying on bogof :(

I know I wonder too. I've ate a few ;):o Obviously the notice was just formal and official, no details given.

Slightly concerning though and now I can't even tell what date mine were! I'm sure others will have done the same to save space!

Oh and you're welcome, no probs :)

    Just answered my own question:http://www.food.gov.uk/news/newsarchive/2012/jun/chokablok-ice-cream-recalled

They may contain bits of lolly stick. I can live with that! I would carry on eating them if I had any left.

Excellent, I can live with that too! Thanks Issyc :D x

It's not often I get nasty but I just had a telephone call from a guy claiming he was calling from 'Windows' and my computer was affected by bugs and if I followed his instructions then he could 'clean' it for me....knowing it to be a scam I asked him how he could sleep at night and told him he had no morals. He kept telling me to listen, I got nasty and called him scum.
The same 'company' have called me many times over the last few weeks and I have always remained polite but today I got angry. It's older people and those who are could fall for the scam I feel sorry for.

don't blame you Jes , my Mam (castletown) had a similar one the other week stating the exact same thing as your scummy caller .
I told my mother to to inform the person if they call again that they haven't a PC and just hang up .

These type of calls and the ' silent ' ones are a pain .

Fudge-Cake, thanks for bringing it to our attention. While I would carry on eating them, I wouldn't give them to my young grandchildren because of the risk. Saying that, I wouldn't give them to my young grandchildren when there wasn't a risk...

I've always fancied holidaying/camping in Wales as I love unspoilt areas,

I hate bournemouth/southend etc as it's all candyfloss and slot machines!

but when ever I suggest it to the Mrs she dismisses it as it is alway wet!:(

Just looked up the weather in Barmouth and she appears to be correct!

    opinions please!?

Wales can be very funny weather wise due to the mountains. Its worth paying CLOSE attention to local weather reports. Case in point was a blistering day the whole country had when I was fishing Tywyn the other week. It was blazing sunshine till we got within 2 miles of the coast at which point it went cloudy and was cloudy all day. Sometimes though it can be the other way around.

Plenty of oddities to see in wales too. Mines, waterfalls, old quarries etc along with the usual beaches and mountains.

A little closer for you (I think you are london?) might be the gower peninsula. Rhossili beach and worms head are magnificent.

due to the hills there are lots of mini-climates(for want of a better phrase) , it might be raining here but 2 mins down the road it's dry .

with the history of uk weather this year surely it's better to be someone new & nice in the rain then somewhere that you've been 100's of times in the rain .
