can anyone help with a rubarb crumble recipie? im got 3 sticks for 1p yesterday so need to use um 2day , is it best to stew the rubarb first or just bung it in?

I tend to pop it in the microwave for a short while just to start the juices coming out then drain it off a bit, otherwise the crumble can get a bit soggy.

I have recently taken to sprinkling it with semolina though, mops up the juice and provides a good sauce. Add sugar to taste.

If you need a crumble mix I do 4 oz of flour, 3 oz of sugar and 2 oz of butter, though sometimes a little more butter is required.

I have just won the Bakewell tarts, so we will have a lot of cake next time I am in T's as I also have the McVities bars vouchers to use - anyone for cake and pizza?:rotfl::rotfl:

Sorry if already posted but I am not up to speed atm - I am sure someone mentioned picking some of these up?

The Ambrosia 500g Rice pots that are 44p (with MOC, cheaper than the 120g diddy pots :)), are these chilled/fridge or longlife/store cupboard? Would like to stock up on a few before the the half price offer ends on the 12th. Thanks.

In my store they next to the longlife milk HTH
