Glad that you watched your spelling there, zippy - it is before the watershed hour!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Woohoo - what a lovely new thread - thanks Karlie. I'm ashamed to admit it means I missed almost all of the last thread. (Raps own knuckles) Will do better this month hopefully. I am at last able to see the sides of the freezer drawers - must mean time to spend, spend, spend, (MSE style obviously!). Big hugs to all, Mrs J0

can anyone help with a rubarb crumble recipie? im got 3 sticks for 1p yesterday so need to use um 2day , is it best to stew the rubarb first or just bung it in?
I lightly stew it first use a tablespoon of orange juice (use water if no oj) and 2 teaspoons of water, I like mine pretty sharp so you may need to add more sugar0 -

Hehe.
I NEVER stew my fruit first in a crumble or pie. The water in the fruit cooks it whilst in the oven.
I chunk my rhubarb, sprinkle a generous amount of sugar over it, a TINY drizzle of water to help it along then top with crumble.
Lovely.
Question peeps, is it worth getting 4 Ben and Jerrys, 4 Chicago takeaways and 4 garlic baguettes to generate an £18 voucher?:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A
