Oh I must tell you all about my awful visit to T's today. The whoopsie chilled area was chaotic. A proper row broke out and extra staff were called over to deal with everyone. There's a large older man and his wife who hog the shelves every single week. She blocks the way with her trolley and he stands in everyone's way and passes stuff over other people to her. They never smile or even talk to each other. Today there were LOADS more people including a Chinese family and a group of other women whose nationality I couldn't guess.

An awful row broke out as the foreign ladies had been waiting patiently for ages but could not get to any of the stuff. There were 2 young SA's who looked stressed to bits who eventually had to call for their supervisor. I just walked away embarrassed. It just maddens me that some people want EVERYTHING for themselves. The older man I'm on about will only move out of the way when he has everything he wants and everyone else has to pick over whats left. He is so rude and greedy. Why cant people just take a little each and share it out.

As I walked back along 5 minutes later there was a huge crowd around the counter and people on mobiles and all sorts. It saddened me so much as I cant think Tesco will allow this to continue- just for the H&S of their own staff.
Talk about people biting the hand that feeds them. I think they'll have to introduce cordoned off queueing with people being asked to move along and take one item each.

Rant over. About to read back hope you all had a better shopping tripx

don't worry they cant be. Just check the ingredients. You cannot write 90% pork and then it's not.

If it had hearts or offals it would state so and can't call it meat either. Presumably, the 6 sausages only weigh a few hundred grams and that is how they make money.

    hearts and offal are meat!

I watched this last night as well while eating whoopsied finest sausages. I really want to try the ones he made though. I don't care what part of the pig it comes from as long as it is free range and tastes good. Will have to have a look round T's today when i go in there with last of price flops, only actually used 2 vouchers so far but want bit more pizza and biscuits. also going to look for the make a meal stuff.

:jAgreed but you only have to look at the furore on here over the poor dead bunnywunny to see the public would turn their noses up up at eating heart, cheek and tongue despite it being better quality meat than the carp they put in to the standard sausage!

When people are thick enough to leave behind the brand match coupons (yes it does happen, quite often ) I normally politely tell the next customer that there are some coupons there. And that I can't reach them to throw away. And that the top one is X amount off. And that I will turn my back/close my eyes for a few seconds ;);):D

It takes when a while and it then hits them:D "Oh, I'll use this coupon then" :T:T

I don't like throwing money in the bin!

However inside knowledge;):D suggests that since Brand Match started coupon abuse has hit new heights (not really surprising tbh) so expect trouts ripping them up left, right and center. And grab them before they get them, especially on SS:cool:

Off to revise! I shouldn't be on here:eek::eek::o:o damn addictive.

    Hmmmmm, the plot thickens........

I had bought 2 x B&J = £10 plus 2 x own ice cream lollies = £2 + 'cool bag' making a total of £13 charged and it still didn't trigger the deduction for the bag.

I tnink the confusion here is the bag is for £10 worth of chilled products!

some people are able to get them with frozen but the deal was for chilled...

Just opened a letter from T's which had 2 x £1.50 coupons in, bit generous I thought so checked online the prices. They are both for Cordysol Daily products and are both £4.50 each!!!! In the bin me thinks with these, unless I can find a very MSE (Free) way to use them because I've got heaps of toothpaste and mouthwash already;)

    coughs!:o I use this mouthwash!;)
