    Sacla Pasta Sauce for 19p?

    Boyfriend was having a read through the Tesco Food mag :eek: and came up to me and showed the following:

    scaled.php?server=692&filename=cimg0887u.jpg&res=landing

    And this:

    scaled.php?server=13&filename=cimg0891h.jpg&res=landing

    Pointed to me that the Sacla coupon does not say 1 per transaction. :D These are currently priced at £2.19 at Tesco.

    Might be a good one if you come across your favourite SA.

    Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

    right think i've got my list sorted for today shopping trip. getting the birds eye meal deal, 2 of the pizzas that are £1.79 each so 29p each, foxes biscuits and 2 frozen cheesecakes. the cheesecakes look really nice and we usually have this sort of thing for dessert after sunday dinner so 2 for £2 is good deal for us, going to look for the make a meal sausage but can't see it on .com at all, and of course look for whoopsied meat to go with the curry pastes and sauce i got from A's earlier in week:D

    Me and the wife too, what a ............(you know)

    You can see he doesn't want anything to work :mad::mad:

    We checked out the jimmy sausages in the local T's and hope that the ones we saw weren't the ones he was trying to make at the value prices as they were £2.99 for 6 :eek:

    found them
    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=265423474

    Is it T's pricing at this price so it fails or are these different ones ?

    :mad::mad::mad:

    What really irritated me was when Jimmy's sausages passed the taste test with their 'customer panel', and Tesco's head of product quality decided to go in and say what the sausages contain; pork meat, heart and tongue. Personally, I love lamb's heart and my mum likes lamb's tongue :eek: (can be found in most asian supermarkets). Heart and tongue are pure muscle and therefore, they're actually a really good quality meat.

    Why didn't he go in and blurt out what the standard Tesco sausages have in them?!?!? :mad: Pig's snout? Or trotters? Toe nails? Bogeys? Shredded newspaper?

    Did you also notice that when Jimmy was doing his lab test on the sausages, the show didn't reveal the type of meat that was in them? And where they came from? I remember they did some kind of tests on the meatballs the week before which revealed where they came from etc. They also restricted the filming at their sausage factory. :mad::mad:

    AND Jimmy's taster sessions proved that his product was better for both adults and children!! And you can't really argue with the numbers, Jimmy had about 200 people sample them where as Tesco made their decision based on 12 people sitting in front of a computer screen.

    :mad::mad:

    Think I'm done now. :rotfl:

    I'd buy Jimmy's sausage any day :eek:; providing they were reduced by at least 75%. :rotfl:
