So glad I didn't go to Stormont - what a waste of time and seemed a complete shambles from an event and transport point of view. She drove in Massey Avenue entrance, invited guests saw her pass in open back Range Rover then the rest got a glimpse of her in the back of a secure Range Rover as she drove down the drive and out the N'Ards road exit, all over in 20 mins or so - bit of an insult to all imho.

BigAl94 she came in Stoney Road entrance and got a very warm welcome from my staff :j before she proceeded up to Stormont. We probably were closer to her than most of the 22,000 assembled throng. :j

However it was a very short visit and she left by Prince of Wales and N'Ards Road to go to City Airport for her flight at 4.20pm

Don't understand the rush - it was hardly a scheduled flight!

I know what you mean, though she had a busy schedule beforehand with Lyric and Titanic Building to visit. Might be as well she didn't stay longer the weather turned really nasty from 4.45 onwards.

No doubt those people organising things were aware that there was a deluge approaching and it was necessary to get the flight off before it was impacted by the weather. No doubt the bed was stripped and the sheets in the wash in Hillsborough Castle so another overnight was not an option. :D
