Quick Poll - How much do you budget for..

...the following each month:

Gifts
Clothing
Car Maintenance

Just curious as trying to work out a proper budget!

It is a bit of a "how long is a piece of string" questions, but I would just be interested to see what you spend.

Thank you & happy friday! xx

Gifts - as needed but probably averages out at £40 a month

Clothing - £80 a month for 2 adults. We both have professional jobs and need good clothes.

Car maintenance - £100 a month at the moment but the car is at the end of its life and needs a lot of TLC. As soon as we're debt free in Sept we'll be replacing it. In past years it's been closer to £50 a month.
    Total Debt Sept 2010 - £24,132.38 / Current - £0.00/ 100% paid

    DFD - [STRIKE]Aug 2014[/STRIKE] 24th Aug 2012

    £10 a day // Jun - £64/£300 / Jul - £133/£310 / Aug - £281/£310
  • Our budget at the moment - and it gets revised every other month is

    Gifts - £5
    Clothing - £20
    Car maintenance - £20

I normally transfer each amount in to an online savings account and use when required. I try not to spend it every month. As for gifts, I try and do on-line surveys etc to get vouchers meaning I don't need to use the gift money at all :T
