Hi there, just thought I should let people know that at my local Co-op this morning they had the McVities Jubilee tin of biscuits for £2.50. They were £5 originally. The tin has 475g of biscuits and are in date until 31/12/12.
The tin looks like this -

The tins were in a basket as a proper offer and not as a reduced item. Hope this helps.
Official MoneySavingExpert insert: The Co-op has confirmed that this offer is on in stores nationwide until Tue 24 Jul 2012, so you've plenty of time to grab one. Thanks to moosetastic for sharing.

The little coop to me is also doing 9 velvet quilted toilet rolls for £3.00 instead of £6.00.0

            Thanks for that!
May have to pop into the co-op in the petrol station near me. People forget about these stores in petrol stations!0 -
These are fine if you're after a nice tin or memento but if you're just after some biscuits then look elswhere.
I bought a couple (okay 4
) tins when Tesco were selling them at £2.50. They're fairly tasteless. Certainly not like McVities normal biscuits.
My friend had a tin as she wanted some biscuits for her grandchildren when they visited. Nobody liked them so she ended up feeding them to the birds (the biscuits, not the grandchildren
). 0 -
I saw these today in Asda too for £2.50.0

Darn! Me and my mum bought these at £5 because we liked the tins (not the biccies though!), Ill probably nip and get one for MIL now though as she had commented what a lovely tin it was.Won 2012:Bobbi Brown Mascara / TRIA System

I thought the choc chip biscuits were nice (two kinds) but the rest were a disappointment0

I saw these in Waitrose and they had them reduced to (can't remember exact amount) about £1.25/1.50.
Went back a few days later...all gone!
Cheap, not amazing biscuits though..0 -
saw them in my local Waitrose yesterday and they were still £2.500
