Tesco and their clubcard reduction

Anyone else think Tesco have dropped a b0110ck by removing the double points from their clubcard scheme?
I used to collect the points, so did my mate, but since they removed the double points we both couldn't care less about their stupid clubcard scheme and so have both stopped using our cards.
2 points per pound was worth bothering with, but if I'm honest, I don't think 1 point per pound is worth the grief.
Anyone else?

I agree makeandsave My dd used to always get her stuff mainly from tescos and now she shops around a lot more and finds that Icelands is great for bulk buying a lot of staple bits .There is six in the family and they do a loaf and a half a day in packed lunches etc so Icelands Kingsmill at 2 for 1.50 beats 2.for 2.20 in Tescos.Iceland biscuit offers are very good as well When she had her last lot of points through she only had about £2.00 where normally she would have had about 25-30 in a quarter. She has saved bundles by changing supermarkets/Where we live there are two tescos within a mile of us but now last time I went in the big one I noticed how empty it seemed Folk are waking up to the fact that points have to be paid for and prices going up pay for the coupons.I only usually buy diesel there once a month if its cheaper.Last week I topped up at Asdas and it was only 137.4 a litre as opposed to 140.6 at Tescos.Quite a bit when as I do I put a tankful in once a month.I am more cooncerened with spending less than getting points no matter if its Tescos or Nectar I'm not bothered really I just go for the smallest cost possible0

It was nice at first when they reduced the points but upped the ammount you got in rewards to x4 again but as soon as they old vouchers ran out I noticed it was so slow collecting for anything.
We are trying to save for Merlin passes so we can have some cheap days out and we only have half of one ticket in 5 months!Total Debt Feb 2012 [STRIKE]£12,153[/STRIKE] 10674 16.5% Paid
