                    Hi...
I've been prompted by NU to think about changing the fund my stakeholder lives in from the default 'Stakeholder with profit fund' into the balanced managed lifestyle strategy fund....
Any ideas a) is the current fund any good? b) is the proposed fund any good c) ar e there any other better funds I could use with NU stakeholder, + d) where can I find info that might help me make an informed choice..
p.s. I'm 30 years of age.
many thanks for help

WP funds are not a good idea long term, but you can do better than switching to a bog standard balanced managed fund.
Ask them to send you the list of all the funds available, and all the funds available on their "personal pension" plan as well. Also ask what they charge for both the stakeholder and the personal pensions.
Often you find the charges are very similar but the funds offered on the PP are much higher quality, so it's sensible to switch from stakeholder to PP.Trying to keep it simple... 0 0

forgot to mention, this is a company organised pension....I'm not sure if I can move it from stakeholder to pp...I may be wrong
