Temporary payment arrangement - what next... help

I have recently completed the CCCS online form and received my 'debt solution' which is a temporary payment plan.
I am well aware that this is only a temporary solution but cannot see my financial situation improving in the next few months and am not sure where to go next. My total debts are total of £13,506 so I assume I would be eligible for a DRO as I have no assets but not sure if this is really the route I want to go down.
I am considering going to the CAB but would they just tell me the same as CCCS, to offer my creditors a temporary payment plan?
I need a long term solution, not a temporary one. I take home just under £1000 a month so after paying my rent and council tax I don't have much left to play with, which is how I managed to get into debt in the first place. I have cut back as much as I can on food and other expenses and have managed with the help of this site to reduce my phone and internet bills etc.
I just need a little advise on what to do next so hopefully someone can help me....thanks

From what you say, you are ideally suited to a DRO.
Don't own a car worth more than £1000, do you?
What's the problem with a DRO? It's a definite solution, whereas if your surplus income is less than £50 per month, it's going to take a long time by any other strategy.0
