Mortgage Exit Fee

I have downloaded the template to try and claim back my mortgage exit fee from the Abbey, it is asking me to insert the orginal meaf, i cant find it the actual cost in the t & c's, but i'm pretty sure they charged me, but my new provider took care of this, any ideas what i should do?

You can't "claim back your exit fee", you can simply claim any amount you've been overcharged compared to the original MEAF (i.e. the MEAF when you took out the mortgage, or switched product, or took a further advance).

You don't need to know how much you are claiming. Simply tell Abbey that you believe that you've been overcharged and you want the refund you are due. They will work it out for you.
