Hi
I contacted RBS early to Mid Jan 2012 and asked for assistance in my payments, they informed me that the only way they could help was for me to default on the card. and then contact them to set up a reduced monthly fixed amount.
It was agreed £50:00
in April 2012 I received a default letter asking me to contact them, I did, and explained what had happened, they refunded my default payment, and agreed to carry on until Sept 2012,
on 17/May/2012 I received a letter from Blair Scott Oliver Collection agency asking for full payment . i contacted them to be informed the account had been handed over to them on the 9th May 2012 only 19 days after an agreed process
1 Can they then take me to court for non payment as I was only doing what their system will allow you to do (no process in place to assist without going down the default route)
I lodged a complaint with RBS on the 17/05/2012 and they have not acknowledged the complaint, in writing ,( they claim a letter was sent out on the 22/05/2012 2nd class post)
I have made numerous phone calls to them and their agents asking for some one to contact me and to date this has not happened
any advice would be much appreciated
Great forum by the way, at least I now know I don't have to let the bailiffs in:eek:

Send them a letter, signed for, stating that you have not received a response to your complaint and that if you do not receive a final response to your complaint within 8 weeks you will be referring your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
