enamal dish or metal roasting tray ? HELP PLS

HELP

I dropped and smashed my enamel stoneware deep dish tray that i usually use for making shepherds pies / potato bakes/ pasta bakes :mad:

until i can get a new one, will a deep metal roasting dish do the job ?
anyone have any ideas ?

    I don't see why not; however, it might be a bit thinner than the enamel one and your edges may turn out a bit crispier.
