Hi All
Had an email the other day stating i had some vouchers due to expire with Tesco, managed to find a pile of them and there is £89.50 worth which expired in February 2012 !!!!
I have just checked on Tesco website and it states they are now worthless -
'I have found some expired vouchers in a drawer, can I still use them?
Vouchers are valid for 2 years. Unfortunately after this time you will not be able to use them.'
I also have about £50 worth which are about to expire in the next 2 months.....
Can i get the expired ones re-issued ?
Also is there any way of extending the ones due for expiry or buying/selling and taking the cash instead of just using at face value ??
Cheers

Okay, you could call them and ask if they would be so kind to reissue the out of date ones. The only other way you can extend the life on the other ones is to buy a reward and return it to get the points recredited to your account. Do not exchange them for double up as you can not send these back.
Also if you log into your account online you will find what vouchers you currently avecthere might be a surprise voucher you do not know about. I found a £60 voucher I did not know that I had. Hth0 -
Hi
Thanks for reply, i have just logged into my account and it states i have £61.50 and 232 points.
This is correct as i have a total of £151 in vouchers with £89.50 expired.
I am still confused as to how exactly i extend the nearing expiring ones ?
I have NEVER used vouchers before.
I do not wish to purchase any deals anyway, i want to get the best return in cash if possible ie buy something and sell on ?
Or i have just checked Ebay and notice people selling them for the vouchers of your choice upto x4 times the value, selling auction style. Surely they would have my name on them though ??

Yes, they would have your name on but most of the time people never check it you. Unless it states that it has to be you. Merlin annual passes are a good one too buy and sell for well over £100.0 -
I notice the clubcard vouchers have my name on plus if i redeem them the redeemed vouchers/passes would also have them ?
As a newbie on this i appreciate your help.
So in theory i could just list them on Ebay as an Auction stating i am not selling the actual vouchers BUT whatever the highest bidder wants to redeem them for ?
Then whoever wins can inform me what they want them exchanged for, i get them exchanged and forward them to the winner....sheesh.
Or i could just buy x2 Merlin Passes.

You can still double them up in store, I did this for a customer the other day.0
