Hi all, My parents are looking at their current situation and what will be inheritence etc. My dad is 69 and mother is 63 next month. Sorry if it's confusing , but your financial position and that of the OPs' isn't that different: it might give the OP some food for thought.However we don't know how much the OP's parents have in state pensions, there are some people who've worked all their lives and never been contracted out and now have quite high amounts: certainly 7-10k is quite possible per person.
