The Debenhams Three Day Spectacular March 2007

What's the deal?
Debenhams three day online and in-store sale is taking place across the UK on Wed 14, Thur 15 and Fri 16 March. The price is reduced by up to 25% on the majority of items.
Why bother with a note about a sale?
Most sales are normally aimed at getting rid of old stock, yet this sale tends to be about building Debenhams customer base with a temporary price blitz, as it includes many currently in-vogue goods. Better still, as Debenhams is a department store it may mean cutting the cost on electricals and house hold goods as well as just clothes (which departments are included isn't public yet).
What you need to do
If you've had your eye on something that Debenhams stocks, first check to see if it's cheaper elsewhere. Debenhams is a department store so its standard prices aren't that cheap plus some areas of the store, such as cosmetics and electricals are only 10% off.
My Internet Shopping article will show you how to find the cheapest prices of the goods so you can do a proper comparison.
Buying in Debenhams Concessions may undercut normal stores
As a department store Debenhams has concessions stalls (ie shops within the shop such as Oasis, Coast, La SENZA & Warehouse), which occassionally take part in this type of event. If they are participating it means by shopping in Debenhams during this sale you can undercut their own stores.
If you have a Nectar Card, don't forget to use it too. For more information on loyalty schemes, read the article about Tricks To Improve Your Stash.

I have a list of which departments have which discounts, if that's any help to anyone just ask. Obviously I can't post the whole lot as it is a huge list.
Several of the Concessions that Martin has mentioned are NOT participating. I have the list of these also, which I will add later.
Oh and in stores it's Friday too

Ideally if any of your friends work there, get them to buy it cos all in all staff get 45% off in total (pending how long theyve been there for)0 -
Took a trip to Debenhams at the Trafford Centre today - the pans I want are on a 25% discount, plus you get an extra 10% off on top of the 25% when you take out a Debenham's card - I am going to try the Manchester centre Debenhams before the sale ends to see if they have a more varied stock of the pans! Plus, Nectar points ... thanks for the reminder Martin!0
