Payments at 19

Daughter turned 19 last week, rang csa today and also OH apparentley has, 2 weeks previously I rang and they said it could go direct to accounts for a final payment, now they say they cant do that over phone as payment may differ, I was told the balance of final payment would be difference from my last payment up to Daughters birthday???
Also the chap on phone said 'oh there may be arreares, he checked system and said no there arent, so should be straight forward but dont cancel DD just yet until final figure arrive, also stated that if not heard in a few weeks call back, this rather concerns me as a few weeks down line could end up paying out another month of which if i do theres not much chance of recovering it, any ideas, should I cancel DD anyhow as I plan to make a card paymenbt anyhow for final payment?
Thanks

yip i would - they will contact you to collect final payment. cases often have one more payment due when the case is closed due to payments being made in arrears - csa staff cant tell you to cancel ure dd / s,order until they know for certain all payments have been made but if there arent any and you are happy to pay anything due by card when they contact you then go ahead and cancel - is much easier than trying to sort out an overpayment. i wouldnt leave it 2 weeks - give them a week and call back to make sure the case is closed asap.Comp Wins 2011 : Cant wait to start listing everything:j:j:j0

Must be so good to know you will soon stop having to deal with such an awful organisation. I wish you and your family well for the 'adult' years ahead.0
