Estate agent trying to sell my mortgage....

right so i have a mortgage in principle with halifax. But everytime i ring a estate agent they try get my to set up a meeting to get a mortgage of them instead.

Should i? Are they any good? cheaper? or should i stay well clear?

Avoid like the plague.

They will almost certainly have no better deals than a broker that has no relationship with the person selling you their property.

Read through the forums, although they do not have a good reputation.

If you selected Halifax just as they are your bank, their rates are poor. If you have other circumstances then good call.

The EA knows their rates are poor and therefore trying to sell to you...
