What is the best money saving product to sue to clean my carpets.

Hi Everyone

1st time posted on thsi area of the forums but I have read loads and love the dieas....thanks

Does anybody have nay tips for a good solution to use in my carpet cleaner or by hand to bring up beige carpets with stains fresh and bright. It is quite good and usually cleans up good but some stains simply won't move e.g. red wine (;>

I wondered about the stardrops as this seems to have pride of place with you thrifty bunch??

In any event I am going to get soem stardrops for other jobs!

    stardrops does say its for use on carpets and upolstery - never used it for that -but it has so many uses I'm sure it will bring your carpets up great!!! what do any other os'ers think?

    I will let you know, I have decided I will wait until the weather gets warmer say May June, whilst kids are out at school all day so they get a good 3 / 4 hours to dry.

  • Just a thought be careful about putting stardrops into a machine as it really foams, don't know if you can add anything else to the stardrops to stop the foaming. Diluted stardrops is quite good for spot cleaning by hand however.
