Better deal for 18 months

Hi, I hope someone can help with this.
I have approx 18 months to go on my mortgage, currently with Leeds BS.
I have just finished a 2 year fixed rate with them and have received notice of my new monthly payment, which has an interest rate of 6.9% and is quite a hike from my previous rate
Most mortgage lenders seem to like to tie people into a minimum 2 year deal. Does anybody know of a mortgage lender who will offer me a better rate for the remaining term of my mortgage?
