Best place to buy American Chocolate online?

Morning,

I am thinking of getting my lovely Hubby some American chocolate for Fathers Day from the kids. Was just wondering if anyone has any recommendations of where to buy from.

Thanks

What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
  • If it is Hershey's you are after then it is sold in Asda (different varieties) as are Reeces Peanut Butter Cups (yum!). This is much cheaper than buying from specialist sites.

There are plenty of specialist sites out there though. I have only used one - called american sweets. No complaints with them although delivery time around Christmas was very slow. They do have a reduced section where you can sometimes get cheap bits that are close to sell by date.

    See above for link :-)

I would agree with going to the American Sweets site as Enterprise posted, they have a shop near me as well as an online store, and they have so much choice, I always end up spending a fortune :)

Just having a look at American Sweets.....Oh dear I feel I could be spending quite a bit! Drool.... Maybe a trip to the US would be cheeper. LOL!

Thanks for all the help x
  • Hiya :)

Apart from American Sweets, here's more to get you further spoiled lol :

    Cybercandy
    American Soda
    Home Sick American
    We Luv Sweets
    USA Food Store

I still frequent Cybercandy, been a long while for the rest though. Don't forget Amazon & eBay too! Happy shopping :D

I use American Sweets too, and ordered quite a bit of stuff from them last Christmas as i was doing a USA themed hamper for my sister.
I had no probs with them, and delivery was reasonably quick :)

selfridges and house of fraser do old bay in store

they do things like skippy peanut butter, lucky charms, smuckers goober, betty crocker, pop tarts etc as well

it wont be much if any cheaper
    but would save postage costs

i spend over £50 with american sweets and get free postage
but if you only want one or two things it would save

Oh yeah! It will start with the Old Bay Seasoning first....then you start browsing through ( just in case ;) ) and after a wee while, you suddenly realise your basket is full with other stuff too :rotfl: ( and hopefully it's still cheaper than the flight ticket hehehe )
