Asked a member of staff for price on above BBQ, who returned saying £ 79.99. Whist considering whether to buy it or not, another customer came over and said that he had bought it the previous day having been quoted the same price but when it went through till, was only charged £ 40.
Having decided that we would buy it regardless as it was worth the full price, we were very happy that we were charged £ 40.
Having told my dad today, he went and bought one for £ 40 so that is now 3 days that the 1/2 price has been in place.

These are a good buy. Once you have put it together (which takes a while) it provide a very controllable heat. The grid for the coals is a little large, so lumpwood falls through, but briquettes are fine.
I got mine last year when they were selling them off for £15 (they had been over £100), but even at £40 you got a good deal.0 -
I salute u Lawrie. I was impressed with £ 40 but £ 15. Nice one. Took me 2 hours to put together in between rain showers but a nice solid BBQ with variable height does the job. Used briquettes with no problem.0

I also picked one up end of last year for £15 & stored it away. Pulled it down last weekend & put it together. Was well pleased with the larger cooking area over last years BBQ as the OH was lining up the meat to throw on so I eagerly unburried the remains of last years charcoal in the shed to also find the lumpwood which it was just fell through the grate. Easily fixed by lining the grate with foil which not only holds all the coal in place, increases the cooking tempreture dramatically but allows the whole lot to be lifted & binned afterwards. I could give the inside of mine a quick wipe to wipe out the dust & it would be like new again.
Shame it's been back in the shed ever since0
