Over ripe nectarines? What to do?

I bought a punnet of nectarines last week and have forgotten about them. Now they are over ripe. Does anyone have any recipes to use them up?

They'll make good ice cream.

You could put them in a sponge cake (half the spnge then layer them peeled across the sponge mixture then put the rest of the sponge mixture on top-this would be great as a dessert with cream or ice cream.

You can make a crumble with them.

roasted with a drizzle of honey and mixed nuts in a bath of white wine. my favorite. p.s. tried it with water and it's just not the same, at all.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have made a basic crumble with soft brown sugar and cinnamon. Will serve with single cream.
