I'm sure it's not, follow the steps in the post from Hovel lady above and you'll be fine, the Statement of Affairs application on the website takes care of all the formatting and content for you, just fill in the numbers, hit the buttons as advised and then you just reply to this topic and paste the automatically created text into here.drowningdepressedindebt wrote: »...putting a statement on here is beyond my techno capacities...0 -
Hi DDID - see you have reduced it by 24% already
Mine is down by 4.46% :j
The most useful tips I have found so far is to meal plan... this has reduced my shopping bill a lot (and the amount I throw away), plus helped my waistline
and reduced my stress levels - hated deciding what to cook every night! The spending diary is also great for seeing where your money is going (although I could try harder at this one!)
Having faced up to what I owe, I think the more facts and figures you know, the better. Makes me feel much more in control
If you can do your SOA then lots of lovely peeps on here will be able to offer advice I am sure. xxx.0 -
An interest reduction will help, but it's just spitting into the wind with that amount of debt. We can all look through your SOA and make suggestions, otherwise you really do need to speak to a debt charity. It's too much on your own, really it is.Make £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

You do need to post an SOA. If you don't, it is very difficult to help further.0

well I did the SOA and yes nil result... pointless, I did this all on paper earlier, no I can't post it I'm not tech savvy, no idea how to get it from there to here... will probably contact a debt charity and try for a dmp. I refuse to do an IVA.0

The soa is no shock, there is no money going anywhere other than food, car tax, servicing and groceries... I don't even have TV.0

Good luck, def speak to someone about it all. They're not going to judge you, will have heard it all before and worse.
Nip over to the old style board, you'll find the grocery challenge. Just gives you an indication of what other people are spending. I know it's a lot harder when you're in the middle of nowhere, I used to live 30 mins from the nearest supermarket. You're not exactly going to be nipping out for reduced items at 8pm!! Might not be your thing but worth a look.
Keep posting if you need help. You sound really hacked off with it all but as I'm sure everyone on here will say, the first few weeks are the worst.Make £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

God, me again, sorry! But just read your comments on devon's thread and you really really do need to speak to someone about it and please keep posting.
We're similar in ages and believe me, we're young enough to start afresh. Put all this behind you, you can do it, just look at everyone else on here who has.
