Manchester: how to get rid of kitchen stuff?

Hello!
I'm moving in with my lovely lass soon, who already has a very well stocked kitchen so apart from a few items, I have a load of kitchen stuff to quickly offload. I'm in south Manchester, and don't have a car.
Cutlery, bowls, plates, pots and pans, mugs, glasses, vases, and all that miscellaneous stuff in the bottom drawer like bottle openers and whisks.
I'll Freecycle and donate to charity shops what I can't sell, but it'd be nice to get a bit of cash if possible.
I'll list a few select things on Ebay, but not sure that much of it'll sell there especially as the postage will be quite high.
Has anyone got any good suggestions of where I can get rid of it? Do those "house clearance" places usually buy this sort of stuff, or do they stick to furniture?
Thanks!

could you try a car boot sale? i know you don't have a car but would anyone you know be able to help out? it's not the ideal time of year but i have seen some signs for them (although obviously i can't remember where right now, but if i go past them again i'll post the details!):happyhear0

I called a house clearance place, and they have warehouses full of this sort of stuff, there's no real market for it. They only want furniture and domestic appliances (washing machines etc).
Car boot sales aren't really an option, don't really have the time to man a car boot, just want to get rid of it all quick. I might just stick a few job lots on Ebay to be collected (but will add postage options in case someone really wants this stuff!) and if no luck I'll Freecycle/charity shop it.
Thanks for the suggestion!0 -
I don't suppose you'll get a lot this way, but sometimes you see 'Garage Sales' where someone just puts all their gubbins in the front garden one Saturday and sees what they can get rid of! Obviously works better if you're somewhere with passing trade, or if you can do lots of publicity ... posters in shops would be the minimum, sign outside the house etc.
Wouldn't work in a block of flats ...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Thanks for all the suggestions, I just gave to charity shops and Freecycle in the end!0
