Court Hearing - What to Expect?

I have to attend a court hearing to try to have a Judgement Set Aside. Never having had to attend a court hearing before, I wondered if anyone could give me any indications as to what to expect?

Any info, advice on how to promote myself, etc would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi

A bit of a guide here, thats all

Have look at this directgov link, maybe have a look through the other related links too, it / they refer to a possession hearing really, but some of the procedures are basically the same (the videos are quite good, if not a little entertaining even)

    http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/HomeAndCommunity/BuyingAndSellingYourHome/Mortgagesandrepossessions/DG_179840

Like anything, its all about doing your homework and having your case well prepared, be able to anticipate what the other side are going to produce if possible.

If you have someone representing you then they should know the ropes (you would hope anyway) either way, the above applies in my book.

Maybe (if practical) pop in the court on a day before the hearing, just to look round and get a feel of whos who and what is where so to speak (up to you really)

Best I can do on the information you have supplied and not knowing anything about the case and the actual court.

Hope it helps and good luck on the day
