My boots life for the last couple of days....

    Yesterday....

Bought a tresemme curling tongs set for £7.33 with my points! Lots of other clerance hair care electrical in the chesterfield store near the optitions.

Back at home, I was organising my suncare collection (lots of n07 stuff in a drawer underneath my bed!) and I found a £5 No7 voucher. I screamed and the OH thought I was being attacked or something, so he ran upstairs and found me happily hiding my boots haul. He didn't see it all but thought i'd spent a fortune. Explained the money saving benefits, and the fact that I enjoy it, don't spend a lot and ebay/car boot what I don't use. It also provides a constant supply of girly b day pressies and raffle prizes. He still wasn't too happy, and threatened to take my Advantage card. Needless to say there was an argument.

    Today....

I was working this morning and my normal route takes me past boots at about 8.30 every morning. There were 6-10 women queuing to get in a 9! I was gobsmacked. I asked what they were waiting for and there had been a delivery of the serum!

I had to unlock at work, so missed it. But I went back later to spend my £5 voucher and hopefully the one I got through the mailing. Got 3 Lipstick bags at £6.50 each. (hoping to use both vouchers and 3 4 2, and they have serum testers in them!)
The sa tried everything for me, the 3 4 2 wouldn't work. And my £5 mailing voucher couldn't be used with it. (manager wouldn't over ride as it was a 'sale' product) So I ended up just leaving with one bag. I was a bit gutted.

But then....I was walking through my local market place and low and behold on the floor a red no7 Voucher!!! So I went back and got another bag. the serum will be going on ebay in the next couple of hours! And it may calm OH down if it makes some money!

Was wondering how the suncream would go at a car boot. I was thinking of 2 for £5, but might have to re-think.

    No 7 foundation £9.50
    No7 powder £9.50
Hydraquench sauna mask FREE on 3 for 2

Johnsons holiday skin 1/2 price, was £6.99 now £3.49

    Soap & glory bubble bath

    eye pencil sharpener

    Total was £29.97

300 points on NO 7 foundation (ACM)
    250 points hydraquench (wrap)
250 points on holiday skin (mailing)
    double points voucher (mailing)

    Received 946 points :)

Then tried to redeem some points on a water filter and filters, using the 10% off if you spend over £30 in points (ACM). The SA couldn't get it to work and tried to tell me you couldn't use vouchers if paying with points??!! Er hello, how would the voucher work then??!!

Called over another SA whoc ouldn't suss it either and said the same thing. Supervisor called, told the SA to press 'total' so the till knew how much was being spent and scanned the voucher no probs at all :)

Still got £64 remaining in points :)
    Slightly worn out mum to 3 (DS1 May 03, DS2 Feb 05, DD1 Feb 08). When i grow up i think i'll become a UN Peace keeper....

hi was in boots today (of course!) and the No7 woman said that the Protect and perfect isn't going to be in stock in store until 24th April!! Sure the ebay market will be saturated with them within the week though.

    HI chickenpants
Could you explain this for me as I have a couple of the £2 off luxury bathing coupon , which grey voucher? is the voucher from the post for the pregnancy?
    please let me know.
    Many thanks
    chach

    Hi
It was from the book of vouchers that came in the post for being a best customer. The vouchers are all outlined in silver/grey. The body butter one was valid from around 28th March to mid April I think! Hope that helps :o
  • Went to use up my £5 No.7 Vouchers today (x3).
I tried to get the new range No.7 Nail File/Buffer and case, but SA said it could only be used on Skincare and Cosmetics. I pointed out that it stated that for Ruby & Milly, but states Any No7 Product! She saw my basket, and said I couldn't have the Face Massager thing either! She called over the (very helpful and pleasant!) No7 SA who said that the new range can't be used with Vouchers, but Massager could!!!
    50% Success!!
No Protect & Perfect Serum and a sign up saying Out of Stock but try R&R etc.... No7 lady said there is so much on Ebay that if 'they' get caught, 'they' will be in trouble?!?!
She told me to try Boots Online! (yeah, but I wanted to use my voucher!!)

Saw new No7 Suncare two days ago, and if that is the total impact of the
    're-packaging', I wouldn't have bothered?!

Also, I want to buy the Casio Exilim (sx70?) with my points, while this 10% thing is still ongoing, but the only stores in my area that have it in stock,
have it in PINK! I would really rather prefer the bog standard silver! Does anyone know any Boots in the West Yorkshire area that might have one of these please?
    Thanks in advance!

Used 2 x £2 of the new Luxury bathing coupons to get 2 Mediterranean soap, SEL said they were £1.66 (1/3rd off?) but they scanned at £2.50 leaving 50p to pay  Didn't argue though as one of them was in the same transaction as a Hydroquench Sauna Mask that I paid for with 1 x £5 red no7 voucher and the 1 x £5 off No7 mailing voucher - it took 75p off the rest of my shopping too and I used the 250 points coupon.
