I dont think I would need blusher if I wandered about hardly wearing anything :rotfl:

  • was in boots galleries bristol yesterday and noticed the elizabeth arden special promo buy two products and get 1000 points. Saw some reduced items- gift sets and tried these along with the 750 points cooupon for clinique and elizabeth arden etc.. They didnt go through so abandoned the attempt but would be a good bootsing if we could manage to work out a way to make it work. Seems you have to buy certain cosmetics and skincare.
:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.
  • So how many points did you get from that transaction?

I used the 750 extra points voucher from the parenting club today to buy 2 lipglosses from clinique and it kept beeping on the till, saying minimum requirements not met. this happened to anyone else? The SA had to go and find a boots manager who studied the voucher kept repeating the sentence "a combination of cosmetics or skincare", couldnt work out if it meant I had to buy one skincare as well. She added the points on manually in the end...thank god or I would have "changed my mind".

Hi there its the No7 Protect & Perfect Serum...£16.75
you could get one of two brushes or two eyeshadows at £6.50 each but one will be free for 3 4 2 and pay with the red voucher and the mailing voucher and pay in total £13.25 for three items.... or just buy the serum and pay £6.75

The Protect and Perfect Serum had sold out in both the Boots stores I tried yesterday. And I just noticed it is getting bids of up to £25 a bottle on Ebay...and thats when the bidding still has a day to go

because its front page news as one of the best face creams so if you see one , grab it!

saying that, it all depends on each persons skin...one of the Time Delay moisturisers were raved about previously and i found it did absolutley nothing for my skin...

Edit.......update, 2 bottles now have bids up to £40 each !!!!!!

Oh believe me...if I had seen any I would have grabbed them!! Especially on 342 and £5 off with a voucher. If people want to pay way over the odds on Ebay I would be more than happy to let them!
But as you say, it wont suit everyone. I tried a little squirt from a tester of the Protect + Perfect in one shop, then tried the No7 Refine and Rewind and thought the R+R one was much nicer.
