I had a bad time at Boots yesterday when I tried to use my vouchers up.
I was sent a few ss points vouchers by a kind mse'er and the expiry was yesterday.
I also had quite a few 50% off Botanics and 250 points on Botanics etc.
I saw this sa at the till and she just didn't look friendly at all so I tried my best to let this person go in front of me but it didn't work and I ended up with her!
I had my free Times vouchers x2 along with points vouchers worth 450 in total and the sa was watching me sort them all out.
I asked if it was ok to do seperate transactions as I had a few vouchers and she said ok but I need to scrutinise your vouchers first with a magnifying glass (she didn't but she might as well have said that!)
I passed her the Sanctuary item and the points vouchers and the Times voucher plus my ac card, she said you CANNOT use any of these points vouchers as the name does not match your card! !
Honestly I was gobsmacked!
I have never had that said to me in 2 years of Bootsing.
It was as if she had taken an instant dislike to me and was doing her very best to not let any offer through, but pretending to be nice at the same time, yet we both knew she was actually being evil!
She then found 1 points voucher with my name on for the Sanctuary but said you can't have two offers so its a free product or 100 points ( I already knew this but she could have scanned them anyway)
I made a mistake with the Botanics as I had bought womens items and the vouchers were for mens, which she gleefully pointed out so I had to abandon those also.
Next she turned to the No7 skincare of which I had bought the ones in a bag at £9.75 (no wraps in store) and she said they weren't on bogof and I would be charged full price for them!
I was positive she was wrong but she wouldn't scan them to even find out
So I ended up with 2 Sanctuary items and no points, no Botanics and no suncream
I then went to another till as I found 2 No7 vouchers on the side and asked a different sa to scan the £9.75 bags which of course came up as bogof!
I took great delight in going back to the evil one and notifying her of this :rotfl:
All in all, it was a bad trip that looked so promising on paper but in reality was rubbish!Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110 -
There are currently some half price vitamins on offer. The ones I could see were:
Nourkrin Man (was £49.95 now £24.97)
Litozin (was £19.99 now £9.99)
These are also on the vitamnins 3 4 2.
Imagine your buying 3 Nourkrin. The till sees 3 products at half price, saving £79.94, but also takes off a full price nourkrin as part of the 3 4 2 offer, saving another £49.95. So 3 packs of Nourkrin cost £24.99!
The same works with the Litozin, 3 packs for £9.98 IIRC. This offer does not work online
Just in case you were wondering, Nourkrin is for people with thining hair and Litozin is for joint care and joint tissue.
btw, before anybody asks, I aren't going bald! :rolleyes:0 -
Hi, has anyone ordered something online which mentioned an offer (eg hoodie, pamper bag, etc) and when you add to the basket, it says the offer is out of stock... What happens next if you order the item? Do they send the offer when it becomes available again, do they send something else?
Thanks.0 -
No7 suncream now on 3 for 2 not bogof. Old stock still reduced but they have new full price stock in now. No7 face massager now full price again but (crap) lash curler still 1/2 price @£5.99. Had 3 No7 £5 vouchers to offload so got 3 old No7 factor 25 suncreams @£4.75 so free.0

Had a good online order today. £55 with £32 worth of points!!!
So £23 for 6 packs of wipes, 2 big packs of Huggies and 4 Clinique products - nice treats!!!!
There was an automatic 500 points with £40 spend, code for 500 points with £50 spend, 500 points with £20 baby spend and 2 x 750 Clinique extra points.
Got 5 no.7 vouchers left to spend but doesn't sound like there's much choice left, might have to be wipes!0 -
