Is today the last day that Boots are giving out the red no7 £5 off vouchers? or is it tomorrow??
Also I wanted to get the Free sanctury product (Times )- I really wanted the microbrasion one - but on the back it said that it wasn't suitable for sensitive skin (mine is very sensitive) so I opted for the hot cloth polish one instead.
Has anyone tried the 'Microbrasion'?? - is it harsh?? has anyone had any strange skin reactions to these products???0 -

hiya!
i personally dont have sensitive skin so im ok with most products. My sister did try the microbrasion thing and her face went as red as a tomato for a few hours, then died down. but needless to say she stopped using the microbrasion as she did say it slightly burnt....hthAll men hear is blah, blah, blah, blah, SEX, blah, blah, blah, FOOD, blah, blah, blah, BEER:wall:0 -

Highs and Lows to todays Bootsing, but wow what a high the high bit was!!
First off, took 3 bottles of suncream to an SA and asked her to check how much 3 would come to - £12...so 6for1 would not have worked (works on the same principle as 3for1). Told her I still had shopping to do, so took them back to the shelf.
Then, I took one of the lipstick bags (now advertised as free with £15 spend on No7) to the pharmacy counter, and asked her if I could buy one. She said, she would just check with No7 girl, so I told her there wasn't anyone at the counter (first time ever I think!), so she asked a manager who was walking past........ and the manager told her just to give it to me for FREE!!! So she popped it in a bag and said "There you go!". Never have I left Boots with such a grin on my face!
Then I popped up the road to the smaller store, and there they had several of the lipstick bags and three burgandy bags on the No7 display, so took one of each to the tills, and she said that they were £6.50 each, put through in separate transactions, used No7 vouchers and paid £1.50 for each.
I have two No7 vouchers left, not sure what to do with them now - go back and get more bags, or wait and see if 6for1 works tomorrow / on wednesday.
If anyone is wanting a lipstick bag, I suggest you just take one to a normal till and ask them if you can buy it - worst case, you use a voucher and pay £1.50, best case - they give it to you free:rotfl:0 -

I have used the microbrasion polish SS stuff and i like it.
My skin has reacted badly to face products in the past and so i do a 'test' on a small area near my hairline (so its easy to cover if all goes wrong  )whenever i get something new - follow product instructions and wait 24 hours to check for any reaction.
Anyway, the polish is fine for my skin but obviously you need to check it for yourself! It doesn't feel harsh when its on - no stinging or anything but my face is definatly smoother when i wash it off.

I had felt the same , with my voucher (only had 1) , tried it last friday in one boots at the pharmacy counter , disguised with other purchases on Jemma kidd stuff , wouldnt work!!! really nice young sa , kindly took all the stuff off the sale and gave my voucher back , we deduced between us that none of the parenting vouchers worked in conjunction with each other (i had the £2 off bourjois in the shop as well).I was thinking I would never have the courage to try it again , but Sunday was in another Boots , and couldnt resist giving it a try with only a nice young man left on the till at lunch time , bought £8 quids worth of 342 shampoos and a no7 illuminated mirror (reduced to £20 from £40) and it worked ! however I did have a moment of panic when he zapped the voucher it didnt take it off the total till he pressed the button aswell , luckily he couldnt do maths, so didnt twig 27.98 - 5 is not 7.98!
If you are going to "go for it" make sure you choose a nice young sa and chat a lot about anything while they are serving you to keep them distracted from the maths!Started my own business and loving being my own boss

I think there is a new sanctuary offer starting on wednesday as they were putiing signs up - I would imagine it would be the 3 4 2 offer again.
Hamilton centre- no sanctuary bags left BUT LOADS OF FREEBIES - including 3 red max factor boxes. There is a sign up saying free gift when you spend £15 or more on makeuup and they have a mixture of no17 grey gift sets, max factor boxes, more no17 gift sets and other stuff. Most of it scans free except the no17 grey bag which goes through as gwp 50p- I just paid it.
Hardily any reduced no7 suncare left apart from that nothing much in the store .
I will be resting again for a few days so hope you girls keep me up to date with the new offers .:o0
