The ones in the hard tubes (with the applicator stick on the lid) are much 'wetter' and don't stay on nearly as well.
I'd recommend the squeezy ones but not the other ones!
I agree that the squeezy ones are really nice. Be warned though, I kept one in my handbag and it leaked everywhere. Absolute nightmare to clean up and DH was not pleased with pink gunge all over the sink! :rotfl:0 -
Would one of you very kind and knowledgeable Bootsers be able to tell me what the barcode is of the £5 No. 7 parenting voucher that actually scans for the full price so that I can check my one before trying it out in the shop. I know it is on this board somewhere, but have hunted high and low to no avail. I am asking as I also remember reading that some only scan for the £5.
Thanks in advance0 -
I have ME/CFS and have got totally confused with such a long thread! When I went out last week, could not find most of the items on the front of the thread (I printed it out - coz I have memory problems)!
I'm a new boot'ser. Got my free wrap, mag and vouchers. My local store is small. I may be able to go out tomorrow to Romford/or Brentwood/Basildon.
Any recommendations as to which of these are best for bargain hunting. Also what are the best bargains that may still be available to look for.
Also any tips for getting the best of boots.com.
Many thanks in advance;)0 -

:rotfl: I have that problem too.. 70% of my bag is overflowing envelopes, either with Boots vouchers, boots receipts, tesco vouchers, print outs of "top posts of the day" from this thread on best bargains, print outs of boots.com as a shopping list, there's even a benefit sharpener in there! I just about have space for a purse alongside...:o
My tip is to get some of those little mini buldog-type clips from a stationery shop (the ones that fold down to stop them being pressed open in your bag) and clip and the vouchers for one shop together. Put all these into an envelope or side pocket of your bag. I have clips for Tesco, Boots, Nectar, Homebase, Adams + another for general money-off coupons. You then only need to pull out the clip for the shop you are going into and they stay together while you flick through them.
My husband saw me sorting them all out into piles on the worktop yesterday and thought that I was bonkers!0 -

Mine (also in the little book of treats) came a couple of days ago and says £5 to spend on an item of your choice from No 7, Jemma Kidd or R&M. Valid until 30/09/07. The barcode is: 2 060722 028612
What is your barcode EthelBloggs?0 -
I'm not a fan of lipglosses as I find them all sticky/gloopy. Really liked the lipstick that came in the free wrap as it was something between a liptick and gloss and not sticky at all.
I'm not as pro as the rest of you on this but got dh to buy me the mirror for mother's day (really quite fancied it anyway) of course got my free wrap, adn a £5 voucher which I then spent on of those eye pencils with smudger. I was really pleased so just a thanks for all the tips :-)hey there's no money but we couldn't be happier if we tried
£2 coin pot - £92!0 -
all of you no7 junkies....what are the lipglosses like? are they sticky/gloopy or are they nice? i have a few no 7 vouchers and thought i would stock up!!
I agree that the squeezy tubes are the nicest, they taste yummy. They are £8.25 each but you can get one of the gift boxes that has 5 different lipglosses in for £15. Use a voucher to get £5 off, so pay £10 and you can get a wrap with it aswell! :j0 -
