just bought this set of cosmetic
brushes today, they are on the Boots 17
    stand as £4.99.
But when they go through the
    till they scan at 50p.
Got two as these will make nice stocking
fillers at Christmas or to add to presents.

had a good look at these and they seem nice quality
there is inside the packet a

    Blusher brush
    2 eye shadow brushes
lip liner & lip colour brush
    eye shadow brush and sponge

    17.jpg

handy if your trying to round up to a £5
    sale to get another voucher

I know I am quoting myself here
but I have been back into Boots
and double checked this as so many
never found them at this price.

It seems there are two sets the set I
bought is the dark blue set, with cream bristle
    brushes

but there is another set in a dark steel grey,
    with brown bristle brushes.

    The blue set is
50p and the steel grey brush set is £4.99.They are
mingled together on the 17 stand you have to
hunt them out.Seems it was sheer luck I managed
to pick two sets of the blue ones with hardly a glance.

Both sets seem almost identical until you look more closely
so if your not bothered about the shade of the bristles.
the brushes in both sets are in identical sizes.

I also went in today and rummaged through
them and found four more sets so if anyone wants
a set and I know a couple have already asked
I dont mind passing them on just for what
I paid plus a first class stamp,if you could email me

  • i went down to boots broadmead today and got the no 7 moisturising mousse for 6 quid reduced from 11.00 and on bogof and used no 7 voucher, have just used it and can report it is lovely. a bit messy to rub in but has left my skin shiny and smooth. I know its meant to be used after a day in the sun but........... also managed to find reduced to 60p skincare in simple range at avonmeads bristol store and used my 200 points coupons thant came in the parent club mailing! so proves its worth holding on to those coupons even if u cant use them first always check the reductions. The only trouble is I have a massive amount of coupons in my bag and carry them everywhere as I am scared I will miss out!
:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.

:rotfl: I have that problem too.. 70% of my bag is overflowing envelopes, either with Boots vouchers, boots receipts, tesco vouchers, print outs of "top posts of the day" from this thread on best bargains, print outs of boots.com as a shopping list, there's even a benefit sharpener in there! I just about have space for a purse alongside...:o

Just to let u know i went into boots yesterday to look for a prfume offer i had a flyer about, but it wasnt displayed. i asked and it was on, even better the perfume had money off aswell.

If you buy davidoff cool water for him or her you get a free hooded top ( mens navy blue, ladies turqoise blue). i paid with points for the ladies one with the free top and its lovely. paid 1750 for the large bottle as was told thats the size the offer was on.
