Xmas Fayre Homemade crafts Ideas please

Hi there,
I am on the PA at my daughters school and started thinking about the xmas fayre this year.:D
Does anyone have any idea of cheap things that could be made to be sold at the fayre. I have thought of Reindeer food and Snowman Soup but what else? I am obviously trying to raise money for some repairs at the school and don't want to be spending lots of money buying items if I could find them cheaper.
