Morrisons have them @ 20p a can. Limit is 24 cans per person

Sainsbury's Basics tomatoes are 31p a can, I got 3 branded cans for 1.00 in Poundland recently, and noticed that Morrisons has offers on own brand and Napolina atm.

Unless I'm buying tinned tomatoes for a specific dish where they're going to be chopped, I always buy plum tomatoes.

Plum tomatoes can be used either whole or chopped. It is difficult to put chopped tomatoes back together again if you need to use them whole.

I think you actually get more tomato flesh in a tin of chopped tomatoes than plum ones. I have bought plum tomatoes and sometimes you only get 2 or 3 in a tin.
