e-mail addresses

Just wondering if anyone has an e-mail address for the following companies:-

Lloyds TSB
HFC Bank
Vodafone
Halifax
Jacamo

Searched google but can't seem to find anything. I need the e-mail address of their customer services dept or equivalent.

Thank you.

  • Just wondering what you're needing email addresses for?

If you're writing to them for any reason, you should send "proper letters", by recorded delivery so you've proof of them being received.

    Here's one for Jamaco :)

  • Rising from the Ashes - I have sent 4 letters via Recorded Delivery over a week ago. However, track and trace says they are still out for delivery meaning they haven't been signed for yet. My guess is that these will get ignored.

    Cass - Thank you.

Can you request a read receipt at all? That way an email will come back to you to tell them it's been opened, proof :)
  • It can take longer than a week unfortunately - it's 15 working days before you can go back to RM and raise a lost mail item http://www.royalmail.com/customer-service/personal-customers/refunds-and-compensation/lost-item-compensation/lost-items

Hopefully they'll be updated after the BH weekend

  • These letters are also quite urgent. I am hoping that I can send them the letter attached to the email along with Royal Mail tracking number.

Unfortunately, the big downside of Out*look 2007 and later versions is that the receiver is given the option of sending the read receipt or not (goodness knows why the did this as it defeats the whole object of having them IMHO - you weren't given the option in previous versions)

True, but you can also request a deliver receipt which is confirmed automatically (in Outl**k at least). Doesn't always work but definately worth a try.
