Stag do in Belfast organised - Help me please

I've booked flights and hotels for 16 (Geordie) guys staying in Belfast for a weekend in July 8th -10th 2005

I'm just wondering if any of you have been/ lived in Belfast and can give me the;

Where to go?
Are groups of males welcome/unwelcome?
Any other problems?

Thanks!

Why not have a look at BIG LIST or WHERE TO TONIGHT to see if they can help you with ideas?

Your can go to Benedicts and/or the M Club in Bradbury Place which is very central in Belfast and there are other pubs and clubs in the immediate area. You can also go to The Odyssey which is a bit like The Gate in Newcastle Upon Tyne only bigger with clubs, restaurants and the cinema. The Odyssey is also fairly central.
You haven't said where you are staying but if it's in the centre of Belfast there are plenty of places to stagger between :)

I forgot to say that you are coming over at the beginning of Norn Iron silly season but if you stick to the more central places as mentioned above there shouldn't be any problems.

I find it a bit ironic though that you are coming over here for a stag do and it's very much the in thing for anyone over here to go to Newcastle for a stag/hen do. Easyjet must be making a fortune:)

Don't forget to visit "The Crown" bar on Great Vic. Street for a pint of the black stuff.

Generally if I'm out with my mates we go into bars etc. in smaller groups, to be sure to be sure.

You could also try Milk and The Pot House which has an upper glass dance floor. Girls wearing small skirts beware... Both are in the Cathedral quarter.

I haven't got much to add for Belfast other than a motorsports centre which doesn't look too far away (just down the M1). Check it out here.

I'll search around and add anything else I find.

If you're looking to save dough on your stag do make sure you use the free tools on my website which will help you cut out the middle man and keep tabs on all those people who haven't paid their deposit! http://www.TheStagDo.com

Good luck and let me know how you get on (a review of the places you visit for my site would be great).

Ps. No, I don't get commission for any links in this posting!

if you are going out in a crowd its prob best to go into some of the clubs in 3/4's as they sometimes turn away bigger groups ( as im sure they do in most clubs/cities)
THESE ARE THE GOOD OLD DAYS ……

For huge steaks and good pints, head to the upstairs part of the Morning Star pub in Pottingers Entry, which is just at the bus stop outside In Shops on High Street in the city centre (by the leaning Albert Clock).

Great quality, friendly staff, well priced and the large booths can accommodate a party of your size if you book in advance. They're in the phone book.

I am a DJ and have worked in Belfast for years tell me what type of music/venue you are after and I can suggest somewhere suitable - not all venues will be as welcoming as some nightclubs in england.

Although from Belfast, I was searching for something different to do for a friends stag party. We've done the paintball, clubbing, pub crawl thing over and over and it was by chance we found out about Citigolf. Best craic ever as well...lets just say we're no Mrs Tiger Woods with the Golf club.

Anyway 9/10 as they have bar facilities aswell.
David James aint got nothing on me
