    Yet another Friday....

This week has been tight due to it being rent week - trying to find £795 each month is tricky but not impossible but our house is worth it. :)

Had a bit of a !!!! up this week with a bill we had forgotten, namely BT. This was £82.82 which unfortunately had to go onto the LLoyds Credit Card - This has caned the balance on that one :(

So, paid another £100 off the Council tax, £15 off the LLoyds Card and £25 off the Virgin card making our total for the week £140 paid off - take away the BT bill from that so the total we cleared this week is £57.18

Doesn't sound good but the most important thing is we have now cleared the £1,000 mark!!!!

    Big milestone that :)
    Key - Balance/Remaining - Total £15073.21/£8283.11
    Rent Arrears - £4770/£985, Council Tax £1582.26/£1200, Eon Energy £907.10/£600, Anglian £317.06/£105.32, Car Loan £1200/£450, CC £4632.79/£4152.79, Personal Debts £1270/£790, [STRIKE]Wage Advance £400/£0[/STRIKE]

Yup, good to hit one milestone :)

Had a bit of a set back however with NPower. I wrote to them on the 2nd requesting a payment plan to clear the debt and received a letter back from them this morning. In effect, it is almost as if I never wrote to them at all :(

So, I have sent another letter today worded a little stronger to ram home the point that I am not ignoring this debt but will require a reasonable period to pay it in. I am also copying the original letter and including it in the envelope to point out that I have been trying to make arrangements to pay.

I don't mind letters negotiating our position in return, to be completely ignored really gets my back up though.

    Finally - Success :)

Just had a call from NPower - they have apologised for the distress caused by the latest letter stating "We weren't convinced the first letter you sent was a genuine offer to pay"

Makes you wonder what sort of people are dealing with us :)

Anyhow, they have now accepted the payment plan I have set out and are putting that into writing. In the meantime we have had a letter back from Anglian Water confirming their acceptance of our plan so that one has the official green light now :D

We are now 10 weeks into this and things are starting to ramp up :D
Friday is here again and I have paid....

    £100 off the council tax
£47.75 off the LLoyds Credit Card
£25 off the Virgin Credit Card
    £20 Off the Water Arrears
    £30 off the NPower Arrears

    Totalling £222.75 Today :D

Now, I have had the interest come off the LLoyds card though which was £73.68, which is why the credit card balance is at £0

So, taking this into consideration, the total paid off today is £149.07

    Not bad really ;)
